Welcome to 365 Queer Things to do in PDX

Hello.  Looking for something to do in the Portland metro area?  Looking for something queer to do?  Well, you’ve come to the right place.  I think.  I hope.

Portland is one of the most fantastically queer places in the US and probably the world.  Places like New York and San Francisco and West Hollywood and Miami often get all of the attention, but there are a hell of a lot of incredible LGBTers doing incredible things all throughout the Portland area.

But can you go a whole year doing something queer everyday?  Let’s find out.  I’ll be posting one thing a day from today until December 31, 2013.  I think you’ll find something fun or something new or something educational now and then.  You may not like everything you see.  But, you might tomorrow.  Or the day after that.  Or something to share with a friend or colleague or visitor.

I hope you discover a section of the PDX queer community you never knew about before.  Take a leap, get out of your box and try something new.  Think of the possibilities!

PS.  I’ll be tweaking the design after we get this off the ground.  Content first.  Then design.  I just didn’t get the design gene.
