The place to find me regularly is Friday night at AMF Pro 300 Lanes because I’m a big gay bowler. The PDX Pride bowling league on Friday nights is not only one of the largest gay sports leagues in the area, but it is also largest bowling league of any kind in the state of Oregon. Each Friday night, well over a 100 LGBTers gather to knock down some pins and have a great time. The great thing about the PDX Pride bowling league is that it is all about fun. While there are some expert bowlers, the focus is on community and having a good time.
Oh you have plans on Friday night? There is also a Sunday afternoon league. And, each June, Portland is host to the Rose Bowl Classic, a bowling tournament that draws LGBT bowlers from all across the West Coast and beyond. More on those later here at 365PDXq.
