A program of HIV service provider Our House, Esther’s Pantry provides food and personal care items for low income individuals living with HIV, specifically in Clackamas County.
Named in honor of Charles “Edith” Brinker, a community leader and one of Portland’s first casualties of AIDS, Esther’s Pantry delivers food and personal products to clients and also allows them to come to the pantry and choose from their well-stocked shelves. They have served thousands of individuals and families over the last 25 years, and currently serve about 200 clients.
Most of the pantry supplies come through community food drives, but you can always drop off donations at the pantry or at one of the many designated donation spots throughout Portland: CAP, Fox & Hounds, Starky’s, Q Center and more.
And, FYI, they also need/provide pet food!
